Full-Time : Day shift (flexible) Salary : $70k-$80k annually *These Programmer positions are *Direct Hire Meaning you would be hired directly by our client with access to accompanying perks and benefits : * *PTO *401k *Holidays *Medical *Discretionary Profit Sharing *Funeral Leave Programmer / Operator responsibilities include : * * Write and develop programs for multi-axis operations including validity of selecting cutting tools and / or probes to perform the operation on 3 and 5 Axis Mills and CNC Lathes* Complete ownership over assigned equipment as well as the team's daily job functions, responsibilities, fixtures, work instructions, team development, work flow and priorities* Time management, team building, detail oriented and accurate execution of the CNC Mill / Lathe programming for both NPI and legacy repeat work.
- Must have solid understanding of quality standards and GD&T as it applies in an aerospace & defense environment* Must be able to identify training needs, tooling recommendations, fixture design and implement best machining practices* Must be able to work collaboratively and safely in an environment with cross-functional teams and varying levels of experience, including but not limited to Engineering, Quality, Production, Deburr and Managers*Skills and Requirements : * * Minimum of five (5) years of experience programming CNC Mills.
- Previous supervisory / management experience or experience leading a team.* Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)* Experience in Solidworks, Gibbs CAM, and CAMplete is a plus*If you meet these qualifications we strongly encourage you to apply!
