About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Critical Care Job Specialty : Critical Care Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Rotating shifts, 3 weeks days / 3 weeks nights Guaranteed Hours : None specified Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : RN license required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have : Ability to support virtual nursing and flexible to work rotating shifts Job Description : Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond quickly to changes in their condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.- Assist with procedures and use advanced medical equipment.
- Support virtual nursing initiatives by assessing and monitoring remote patients.- Participate in orientation and training programs as needed.
- Be adaptable to changing schedules and accommodate the needs of the unit.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Uphold hospital policies and standards to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.Please note this position involves covering for staff on leave and participating in the unit's innovative virtual nursing model.
