About The Position
Job Title : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Job Specialty : Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist / Electrophysiology Specialist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4x10s, 7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM with varying call nights and weekends Guaranteed Hours : 40.
00 hours per week Experience : Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist / Electrophysiology Specialist training or experience preferred License : Maintains current BLS, ACLS Certifications : Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist Certification, and / or equivalent certification required Must-Have : EPIC knowledge, EP experience Job Description : Provide professional care in Invasive Cardiac Pediatric and Peripheral Laboratories according to hospital policies and procedures- Collaborate with various locations on a temporary operational need, training basis, or semi-permanent assignment- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment and perform all related job responsibilities safely- Maintain clinical and professional competency concerning patients' ages, developmental stages, and special needs- Support unit efforts in performance excellence, growth, quality customer service, employee engagement, and community benefit- Embody core values of caring, commitment, integrity, teamwork, safety, communication, and service recovery- Contribute to the Patient-Centered Care Philosophy, recognizing all staff as Caregivers- Perform care for patient comfort and well-being- Assist with treatments, therapies, and procedures (including scrub assistant, monitoring, and circulating) under physician direction- Administer medication under direct physician supervision- Document current clinical picture and record designated information in the patient record Physical Requirements : Ability to work in high-pressure situations requiring prolonged concentration and critical thinking- Physical activities include walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling- Capable of lifting and supporting up to 50 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English- Strong manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination- Ability to stand and walk while wearing 10-20 lbs lead radiation protection aprons- Must respond quickly to changes in patient and / or unit conditions- Potential exposure to radiation, secretions, and blood in a confined work area Schedule Notes : Green scrubs RTO NOT Approved : 4th of July (7 / 3-7 / 5), Labor Day Weekend (Fri-Mon) 8 / 30-9 / 2, Halloween 10 / 31.
Only one holiday for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve.
