Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY : The Process Control / Output 3 will work with production operators and the production coordinator to perform visual inspection of product and ensure that the product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.
The Process Control / Output 3 will escalate discrepancies that fall out of defined quality product specifications and assist in disposition of defective materials.
They will also prepare reports to manufacturing management of known or found defects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Analyzes customer materials, documents, data files, and production reports for errors and resolves issues before releasing to manufacturing.
Maintains accurate records of customer files and materials.
2. Performs visual inspection of printed materials for defects that are out of specification by following quality system procedures and work instructions and ensuring that the product meets quality conformance specified by the customer and / or RRD.
They will be validating file source, alignment specs, placement specs, formats, graphic / logo specs, color, test overlay, collation, sequencing, IMB barcode position, MICR line position and density reading, output barcode placement and other quality specifications.
3. Records and defects and assists with disposition of suspect or defective materials.
4. Prepares written reports and provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.
Qualifications
Requirements :
1. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to follow through on assignments.
2. Must be able to work in a team environment efficiently.
3. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with all internal departments.
4. Knowledge and ability with Google and Microsoft applications.
5. Knowledge of RRD processes, procedures, SOPs, etc.
Additional Information
Payrate :
Shift : · Mon - Fri 3pm to 11pm, weekends and OT as needed.
Differential : $ differential.
Training will be Mon - Fri 7am to 4pm, no shift differential for a day shift schedule.

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $ to $ per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to : education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
