A top 3 investment bank organization ensures a multinational environment of non-stop 5 / 24 joint global software development that includes Luxoft, Client, and other vendor Engineers.

The application is an enterprise-wide system that serves as the golden source of reference / dictionary information about clients - Client Lifecycle Management and Counterparty Management.

Know Your Client (KYC) and regulatory requirements maintenance are also within the scope. A complicated multi-component architecture ensures a huge list of technologies to boost your personal tech-stack.

You will be responsible for metadata change management application development that serves as the KYC questionnaire structure constructor.

Team Challenges

Team challenges include both short and long-term goals of introducing CI / CD processes as well as BDD automation QA, and adapting the environment to Cloud GCP technology migration by applying the same microservice and containerization architecture patterns to the wide application scope that has been productionalized already for a few application components.

Responsibilities

• As a team member, provide architectural input on current and possible application solutions.
• Work closely with technical leads, analysts, and developers to design and implement cross-platform REST API WSs applications (as per microservices architecture) within a structured development process.
• Work with full stack components (Java, Oracle) as needed.
• Direct communication with customers in Agile mode.
• Troubleshoot performance, concurrency, and functional problems.
• Occasional business travel onsite (New York), rarely as per need.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Occasional design and review of data model (optional).

Skills

Must Have

• Java 8, 11, 17, J2EE.
• Enterprise Java.
• Spring Boot.
• UI with React development is a must.
• Messaging technologies : Kafka, MQSeries, and database know-how / hands-on experience, required is Oracle.
• Knowledge of modern software deployment tools (build and auto-deploy).
• Container-based software hosting infrastructure.

Nice to Have

• Microservices.
• REST API WSs.
• Oracle (PL / SQL) skillset is a plus but not a top priority.
