About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Pediatric Cath Lab Job Duration : 8-week contract Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience : Minimum of 1 year required;
first-timers accepted License : Must have South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license Certifications : PALS, BLS, ACLS (Only American Heart Association accepted) Must-Have : Experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab preferred- Pediatric / Adult Transplant R / L Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, Valve Placement experience- Agency-provided radiation badge Job Description : Work in a pediatric catheterization lab within a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital- Participate in complex procedures including transplant biopsies, balloon and stent placements, and valve placements- Call requirements to be discussed during the interview process- Two cath lab rooms available- Open to block scheduling per manager's discretion- Local applicants accepted on a case-by-case basis- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submission- Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season- Complete non-billable modules pre-start, reported by the facility- 16 hours of non-billable orientation required before starting Additional Information : A teaching facility with a strong focus on pediatric care- Potential for emergency duties during hurricane season (June to November) - Charting system preferred is EPIC
