But what does Funko do? Funko is a purveyor of pop culture, making and selling license-focused collectibles. We’re based in Everett, WA where we have a store that delights kids of all ages (kids at heart included).
We currently hold hundreds of licenses for franchises ranging from Marvel to Harry Potter, giving us the rights to create tens of thousands of characters one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry.
We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world.
The Territory Sales Manager, LATAM is an individual-contributor position in partnership with the Sr. Territory Sales Manager, LATAM, key responsibilities will include teaming up effectively with distributors on the ground;
managing national accounts; overseeing operational distribution for major retail partners; and coordinating a range of marketing efforts.
This role involves some travel. The Territory Sales Manager, LATAM is likely to head into the region roughly 5 times a year.
When you go, you’ll be representing products with truly international appeal Funko’s +1000 product licenses include clothing and other consumer products representing characters from Disney, Star Wars, DC Comics, and Marvel.
The candidate for this role must be bilingual in Spanish and English, being able to speak and write in both languages fluently.
Our environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams in a very ambiguous area.
Your Superpowers in Action
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with an annual revenue of $5-10mm on average
- Define distribution and retail strategy to support commercial development with retail partners
- Analyze market trends and client needs for the development and performance of sales activities in assigned market
- Establish sales targets, designing and implementing sales strategies to meet the targets and mapping the accounts to identify new opportunities
- Partner in the organization and execution of Funko’s portfolio of client-level campaigns from conception, evaluation, target definition and creative content specification to coordination of all aspects of execution
- Briefing and coordination of creative content creation for campaigns and promotional activities with key accounts
- Actively participate in the sales cycle to bring leadership and strategic support to large deals
- Forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement
- Support national events and trade shows
Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry
- 5 years’ experience in a Sales or Account Management role, preferably for a consumer product company selling direct to large, national retailers in LATAM regions
- Bilingual in Spanish / Portuguese / English in both written and verbal communication. Spanish / English is required and Portuguese is preferred.
- Knowledge of collectible / toy / CPG industry and customer trends
- A breadth of knowledge of POP culture.
- Out of the box thinker; creative and strategic mindset
- Proven account management or another relevant sales experience
- Able to move quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast -paced environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to details
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized and efficient time management skills
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Up to 5% travel required

Funko offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company.
The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,610 - $110,500 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards Packagethat is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives.
