Overview :
The Senior Treasury Accountant is a key member of the Forefront Finance team and performs and manages duties related to centralized cash management, including bank account administration, cash forecasting, and debt management.
In addition to banking, this role coordinates and leads non income tax filings (sales and property tax filings). This role reports to the Controller and partners with members of Finance leadership team including the CFO.

Responsibilities :
1. Perform and manage duties related to centralized cash management, including bank account administration, cash forecasting, and debt management.
2. Responsible for all cash management / banking functions including banking administration account set up, ACH and wire transactions.
3. Prepares and reviews cash account bank reconciliations.
4. Prepares, maintains, and updates the cash forecasting model.
5. Reports to senior leadership, including the CFO on cash flow forecasting and related reporting.
6. Prepares quarterly covenant calculations and lender compliance reporting.
7. Assesses accounting treatment for unusual transactions including debt modifications.
8. Coordinates and prepares various sales tax filings.
9. Manages third party firm for property tax filings.
10. Adherence to compliance and completion of compliance training.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Progressive financial and accounting expertise.
2. Extensive experience in coordinating banking activities.
3. Knowledge of Excel and ability to work through detailed data sets and account reconciliations.
4. Must be detail oriented.
5. Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. High level of integrity, ethical judgment, and confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to learn new software quickly.
9. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, leadership, and the public.
10. Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
1. Accounting Degree
2. 6+ years experience in accounting and related banking activities
3. CPA preferred
