Our institution is experiencing rapid growth! We are building our capacity by hiring an experienced mortgage loan processor for our highly productive and skilled lending team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the loan process, from origination to close, while paying close attention to the compliance of current lending policies and regulations.

$60,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
  • Secure property and loan documentation to process mortgage loan files such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records
  • Serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers and loan officers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to support loan approval
  • Put together loan packages and submit to lender underwriting for approval or denial
  • Collect and verify necessary financial documentation, such as credit reports, to complete mortgage loan applications and determine creditworthiness
  • Verifies that loans originated can be done according to available programs and investor guidelines
  • Reviews and analyzes all loan documentation received such as appraisals, loan applications, credit reports, income, assets, and title insurance
  • Checks ratios and verifies the accuracy of AUS findings and program applicability
  • Inputs loan file documentation accurately into necessary software programs
  • Reviews and Submits applications and conditions to the underwriter for approval
  • Orders third-party documentation and reports
  • Provides status updates to Mortgage Loan Officers
  • Identifies potential issues and communicates with the Mortgage Loan Officer
  • Monitors overall loan processing cycle time to ensure loan closes on time
  • Obtains and verifies clearance of all underwriting conditions and prepares the file for submission to closing
  • Regular and Reliable attendance is required as an essential function of this position
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
  • At least 2 years of loan processing experience required
  • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required
  • Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required
  • Proven history of originating purchase loans
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
  • A college degree is strongly preferred
  • Proficient technical skills (Microsoft or Google Suite, experience using a CRM to manage leads, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2+ years loan processing experience required
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan product knowledge and mortgage lending experience required
  • Superb analytical skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
  • We prefer an Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business - High school diploma or GED required
  • Live in Denver, Co
