Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Principal Cyber Software Engineer - Cyber Engineer ESS (24-070) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will be out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Overview :

Support, maintain, and update ESS ePO, Agents, and Point Products to ensure all products are at the current baseline.

Essential Functions :

Experience implementing, deploying, and sustaining Trellix ESS on Windows and RHEL Operating Systems (OS), including ePO, Agents, and Point Products.

Proven ability to troubleshoot issues related to the installation and updating of ESS Point Products.

The ability to create, modify, and tune signatures, policies, and client / server tasks.

Create and maintain dashboards that report metrics, compliance status, and threat detection.

Create, tune, and test ENS / Application Control / Firewall signatures & policies.

Create, tune, and test ePO client and server tasks.

Troubleshoot moderately complex issues.

Perform regular analysis of compliance status and report any suspicious activity.

Document and maintain ESS procedures & playbooks.

Basic Qualifications :

An active Top Secret clearance is required to start.

5 years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 9 years experience in lieu of a degree.

Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)

Excellent experience supporting, maintaining, and updating ESS on DoD networks.

Ability to work in a complex environment while supporting multiple systems and networks as a team player.

Experience troubleshooting moderately complex issues.

Must have technical documentation preparation and communication skills.

Experience creating and updating procedures, operational instructions, and playbooks.

Preferred Qualifications :

Previous experience working on Network Devices / Firewalls is a plus.

10% travel between Northern Colorado Springs and Schriever Space Force Base may be required to support meetings and work with distributed sites and personnel.

Salary Range : $107,300 - $160,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
