INVENTORY SUPERVISOR
- Ensure team is adhering to inventory processes, schedules, and responsibilities as defined
- Assures that team members comply with corporate, DC, and departmental policies and procedures. Promptly addresses performance, attendance, behavior through coaching and appropriate documentation, and corrective action as needed.
- Provide leadership guidance, direction, and development to direct reports.
- Execute company initiatives and strategies to uphold our standard of warehouse and delivery excellence.
- Create and perform annual associate performance elevations.
- 2 - 3 years Supervisory experience of direct reports b / w 5 20 team size in a distribution operation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Expert user experience with warehouse management systems (SAP is a plus).
- Data analytics
- Strong PC skills
- Strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, basic to intermediate formulas, charts)
- Fluent in English communication : written and verbal
- Experience in quality concepts (QMS, Lean, 5S, RCA)
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Experience in continuous improvement methods
- Experience in change management
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner, maintain confidentiality and sustain a respectful workplace.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to provide the supervision necessary as business needs change.
