Responsible for overseeing all phases of production and coordinating equipment and manpower needs of the various supervising project.
Plans and executes all phases of project management including preliminary planning, cost estimating, bid preparations and evaluations, contract negotiation and job execution, documentation, and vendor relations.
Responsibilities
- Assure work scopes are properly completed (including documentation) by maintaining ongoing contact with CLIENT and THIRD PARTY CONTRACTOR.
- Communicate and interface directly with THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS to resolve any problems.
- Maintain routine contact with CLIENT management, THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS and CLIENT field personnel providing feedback regarding all aspects of work-flow such as shipment dates, special needs, production updates, feasible improvements and problems.
- Directly engage with Engineering, Project Controls Staff, and Supply Chain Management in ensuring that the project is fully integrated into the budget and schedule of the project.
- Review and assess the performance against the project’s engineering schedule, handle changes to mitigate the impact to the scope, budget or schedule of the project.
- Ensure alignment of engineering activities with the procurement and Contracts Plan, and the Project Construction Plan.
- Direct internal and external resources to produce delivery on schedule and on budget, monitoring progress and performance.
- Support the development / advancement of other project managers and engineers through training, meetings; keeping them informed of changes within the organization and operational scopes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Training
Education : Bachelors Degree / Masters Degree a plus
Experience
- Proven track record in the management of basic and detailed engineering activities of very large process plants.
- Strong organizational, communication and facilitation skills.
- Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage change.
- Must have 10 years of experience in Major Projects environment with direct work and experience in engineering or project management of natural gas or hazardous liquids pipeline or facility projects including high-pressure.

This is light work. No protective equipment needed in office setting. Standard Industry Personal Protective Equipment (Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, and Steel Toes) are required when on-site and THIRD PARTY CONTRACTOR’S facilities.
Travel
The position requires periodic travel (20-25%) to the work site, and THIRD PARTY CONTRACTORS offices / facilities.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers (for travel).
