Description :
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly facility and ensuring that warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory requests are completed accurately with an appropriate sense of urgency.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Maintain a neat and orderly facility.
- Help manage the warehouse inbox responsible for making sure that appropriate actions have been taken on all orders and requests by end of day
- Fulfill orders based on printed releases, ensuring that the inventory is pulled accurately, packaged, and shipped correctly
- Enter data into the Warehouse Release Spreadsheet
- Ensure inventory requests for production
- Receive all variety of materials that enter the building which includes unloading, verifying against the packing slip, and storing in the proper location
- Perform facilities maintenance which includes recycling of all paper and cardboard materials, emptying of waste materials.
- Assist on building tickets including re-stocking paper towel dispensers, bulb replacement, and light cleaning duties.
- Conduct monthly and yearly audits of client product inventory
- Organize and maintain pallets for daily pickup of mail.
Requirements :
Required Skills / Abilities
- Experience operating forklifts and other similar type of equipment (preferred, but willing to train)
- Experience using computers and performing data entry
- Mechanically inclined
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable with regular and consistent attendance
- Safety conscious with the ability to perform job functions in a safe manner
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors visually, orally, and in writing
- Self-directed, continually looking for ways to improve work, eager to learn and grow
- A team player with a cooperative spirit
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift 10-20 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand 10-12 hours
- Bend, push and pull carts
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
