Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a dedicated C-130 Paint / Final Finish Supervisor to oversee operations within our C-130 paint facility, ensuring that all production meets stringent cost, schedule, and quality standards.
This position plays a pivotal role in the coordination and execution of aircraft painting, managing both direct reports and matrixed support staff.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead all Production Operations activities within the C-130 paint facility, coordinating the efforts of direct and matrixed support staff to meet production goals.
- Ensure aircraft are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Manage daily operations, making key decisions that directly impact production timelines and outcomes.
- Maintain frequent communication with internal and external customers, including management and technical representatives, to address operational and scheduling concerns.
- Conduct briefings and participate in technical meetings to provide updates and discuss challenges with stakeholders.
- Foster a positive, motivated team environment, driving operational excellence in a complex manufacturing setting.
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably within aerospace or defense industries.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and quality assurance for manufacturing processes.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- High level of problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure.

Desired skills
Previous experience painting / finishing military aircraft
preferable C-130.
- Familiar with AMMM processes and procedures.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing in a Union Environment.
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time
