Project Manager

The LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation (LAMF) is seeking a dynamic individual with a proven background in project management to manage an exciting new two-year grant to support New Americans in securing meaningful employment in long-term care.

This state-funded grant project has nearly $1 million in total funding over approximately two years. It aims to execute four distinct yet interconnected deliverables that support New Americans' entry into and success in the long-term care workforce and build cultural competency for employers.

The LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation operates in a hybrid work environment that requires in-office attendance three days per week and the option of working from home on Mondays and Fridays if desired.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Minimum of 4 years in project management, with a preference for work involving refugees or diverse populations in various community settings.
  • Strong ability to manage complex workloads effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated skills in anticipating needs, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and managing project budgets, with a preference for a background in aging or related fields.

What you’ll do as the Project Manager :

  • Project Management : Develop and maintain a project dashboard to oversee timelines, expenditures, and deliverables while managing the request for proposals process for vendor selection.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Facilitate advisory groups of New Americans, long-term care employers, and stakeholders to guide project deliverables and maintain relationships with grant funders and partners.
  • Budget Management : Oversee a grant budget of nearly $1 million, process expense payments and invoices, and ensure the timely completion of financial reports for funders.
  • Reporting & Evaluation : Write and submit progress reports to grant funders, develop evaluation metrics, and collaborate with third-party evaluators to assess project outcomes and improvements.
  • Communication : Create effective communication systems for grant activities, deliver presentations to stakeholders, and promote the project through various communication channels, including social media and newsletters.

Through June 30, 2026, this full-time position will be primarily responsible for executing all aspects of the grant work plan, managing the budget, and contributing to required grant reporting.
