We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join us in testing solutions for Insurance / Reinsurance risk modeling.

You will be responsible for testing the software in an AWS environment. We are looking for a strong technical candidate with significant hands-on experience and skills who can collaborate with like-minded individuals in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.

Responsibilities :

Analyze feature requirements and design specifications to create test plans and test cases, execute and validate the test results;

ensure the product meets all feature requirements.

• Review epic overviews to create detailed test strategy documents.
• Create, debug and fix automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Create a robust daily, smoke, acceptance and regression test repository.
• Discover, debug, document and verify software anomalies.
• Evaluate test results and track feature status using internal tools / processes.
• Escalate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner.
• Address queries from Product Owners, Scrum Team Members and the Client Servicing team with regards to our software products in a timely manner.
• Identify capacity bottlenecks, suggest & implement solutions for process improvement.
• Responsible for software risk identification, escalation & mitigation.
• Provide QA metrics as required.
• Be the scrum team point of contact from a quality assurance perspective.
• Contribute to the training of new hires.
• Work collaboratively with a global team.

Minimum Requirements :

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Data Science.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 Years’ experience working on AWS SaaS cloud based projects on an Agile software development team.
• Full-stack development experience using TDD with strong debugging and performance tuning acumen.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with C#, C++, Java, Python or other object-oriented programming language.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of data management tools including but not limited to SQL / R and Python.
• Efficiency in solving challenging problems with personal accountability for meeting organization goals.
• Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with global teams.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Data Science (preferred).
• AWS Certifications (preferred).
• Knowledge of insurance / reinsurance (preferred).
• Experience working with large datasets (preferred).
