Primary Purpose :
To support inspiration and innovation in ECISD through the STEAM and innovative programs especially related to Inspiration Station.
Position dependent on funding from the Education Foundation of Odessa.
Qualifications :
Education / Certification :
- High School Diploma or higher
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License
Special Knowledge Skills :
- Strong organizational skills, effective communication skills (listening, verbal and written), time- management skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work well with a diverse population
- Ability to work in partnership with other departments and organizations
- Skill in developing computer generated documents, graphics and databases
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform job duties under little supervision
- Proficient use of personal computer with excellent software skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, file maintenance, and databases
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Bilingual (verbal and written) preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties :
- Actively provide support to Director in the implementation of Inspiration Station initiative (e.g. Preparing materials, attending events, inventory, etc.)
- Participate in professional development as required
- Assist, as needed, with various district-wide activities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Promote STEAM and innovative programs

- Frequent districtwide travel and occasional statewide travel.
- Occasional prolonged or irregular hours.
