Assumes responsibility and accountability for verification of patient demographic, medical and financial information while assisting patients in all related aspects of their account.

Qualifications
High School or GED Diploma
Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care facility or related environment preferred, but not necessary.
Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas. (Admitting, Business Office, ER)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented and organizational skills required.

Familiarity with HMO / PPO contracts beneficial
