The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of promotion designed to support brand strategy and execution of a biologic agent within a highly competitive dermatology market.
This critical role requires an energetic individual with strong marketing competency and the ability to thrive in an evolving organization.
Integration and collaboration within the brand and broader matrix teams is requisite for successful delivery of the brand objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Understanding of disease state and competitive landscape as context for creation of competitively differentiated marketing programs that drive and maintain customer engagement
- Creation of programs that incorporate brand messaging and are adaptable to customer segments for both personal and non-personal promotion
- Design programs to support broader brand initiatives and compliment both HCP and patient strategies
- Work with team to create, execute and monitor HCP digital strategy
- Support development and execution of brand advisory board content, format and logistics to inform brand strategy
- Contribute to content / material creation for a variety of peer to peer and speaker programs; develop and manage speaker training
- Manage congress and professional society plans and activities
- Develop and lead the brand sales field training and communication plan
- Contribute to the development and implementation of national sales meetings
- Liaise with Commercial Operations in execution of OCE HCP initiatives
- Possess fundamental knowledge of primary research methodologies, provide input into the creation of primary research surveys, and interpret and apply research results to brand strategies and tactics
- Utilize metrics to measure the effectiveness of promotion and related execution
- Assist in the analysis and assessment of key performance indicators to inform brand strategy as well as identify new opportunities for the brand
- Manage projects with agency partners including creative brief, timelines, contracts, MSAs, SOWs and POs in the creation of plans and tactics
- Track and manage HCP budget
- Take accountability within this role for ensuring brand meets or exceeds annual revenue and unit forecasts
- Manage the MLR process for review and approval of promotion
- Must be willing to travel nationally approximately 30-35% of the time
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4+ years pharmaceutical / biotech marketing experience
- Brand marketing experience including strong understanding of digital marketing
- Biologics experience in dermatology and / or rheumatology is preferred
- Proven skills in the following : brand marketing, strategic thinking, project management and tactical execution, ability to master scientific data, analytical thinking, financial and budget management, POA and launch experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Can do and team oriented mindset
- Accountable, resourceful and acts with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lead through influence across functional lines

- Business and financial acumen
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Well versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc..)
