Key Responsibilities :
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy programs for students with diverse needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving their daily living and functional skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP meetings, to contribute to students overall support and success.
Qualifications :
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy practices and educational interventions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
