The Mental Health Technician delivers quality direct patient care through a structured safe therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include : Contributing as an active part of the treatment team, patient observation, patient escorts, providing redirection & consistency.

Brentwood Hospital is a 260-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility located in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Brentwood has served Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas for more than 45 years. We provide quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Qualifications

  • Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in Psychology preferred
  • Experience : One year of mental health experience or background required.
  • Hours : Determined by the Chief Operating Officer
