• Theprimary purpose of the CNA is to provide assigned residents withroutine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursingcare procedures and as may be directed bysupervisors..
• The Certified Nursing AssistantCNA must be committed to our mission to deliver superior healthcareto our residents in a manner which promotes independence preservesdignity & strives to improve their quality oflife
• Provide residents with routine dailynursing care in accordance with established procedures &document the resident care appropriately
• Create& maintain a calm atmosphere throughout theunit / shift
• Prepare residents for meals servetrays & assist with feeding asindicated
• CNA will check residents routinely toassure that their personal care / hygiene needs are being metincluding giving / assisting residents with bathfunctions
• Assist with transportation liftingturning moving positioning & transferring residents into / out ofbeds chairs bathtubs wheelchair liftsetc.
• Answer resident calls promptly &report all changes in residents conditionpromptly
• Measure & record temperaturespulse blood pressures etc. as instructed

Requirements :

• Holds CNA Certification in NewYork State that is current & in goodstanding
• Dedicated to providing extraordinarycompassionate care as a CNA to eachresident
• Energetic enthusiastic committed &passionate about quality care
• Genuinelyinterested in helping ill injured disabled elderly emotionallyupset & sometimes challengingresidents
• Patience a cheerful disposition &willingness to assist any residents &coworkers
• Excellent communication customerservice & organization skills
• Trusted towork independently & in a teamenvironment
• Able to work well under pressureflexible & will work harmoniously with allstaff
