About The Position

An FQHC is seeking a pediatrician for locum tenens coverage.

In Manhattan, New York, you can explore iconic attractions like Central Park, Times Square, and the Museum of Modern Art, immersing yourself in the city's vibrant culture.

The credentialing timeframe for this position requires a physical examination, which can be conducted onsite if needed, along with three reference letters, taking approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours from either 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM, totaling 40 hours per week;

however, an unpaid one-hour lunch reduces this to 35 working hours. While the facility prefers full-time coverage, they are open to candidates who can commit to three days a week.

The call schedule involves minimal responsibility, with one other pediatrician and two physician assistants rotating every other month for 24-hour coverage.

Required certifications include a New York license, DEA, BLS, and board certification or eligibility, along with an infectious control certification.
