Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Consultant with expertise in risk modeling to join our team. This role requires a blend of technology proficiency, risk assessment experience, and industry-specific knowledge in natural or industrial hazards.
What You Will Do :
- Develop and implement advanced risk models for natural and industrial hazards.
- Provide strategic consulting to clients on data-driven risk management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Lead projects and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
What You Will Need :
Education and Experienc
- A minimum of a bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in work experience and training.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technology consulting and risk modeling.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python and R.
- Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex insights.
- Experience in natural hazard modeling or industrial hazard risk modeling.
- Familiarity with industry-specific challenges and data-driven strategies.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
- Ability to learn the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.
Reporting Relationships :
Reports to a manager, director, or executive-level position and does not have any direct reports.
