SPPS is looking for a motivated Software Engineer. Our team builds and maintains a scalable and efficient platform that provides capabilities for account management services world wide for Amazon Sellers.

Managed Sellers benefit from hands-on strategy and assistance from internal Amazon Account Managers, improving value, growth, and convenience across their business.

This role includes updating and maintaining our internal account management services and web UI as well as enabling other teams to consume and leverage those capabilities through service integrations.

This position will include working end to end on our services and provides opportunities to grow as a full stack software developer on a team that is constantly looking to improve and optimize our capabilities for our customers.

Key job responsibilities

As a software development engineer on this team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap and development of product features from beginning to end. You will :

Work with the team to help solve business problems.

Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain innovative software solutions to transform service performance, durability, cost, and security.

Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.

Write high quality distributed system software.

Work in an agile, startup-like development environment, where you are always working on the most important stuff.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
