JOB DESCRIPTION GA Rogers & Associates has partnered with our Downtown Dallas based client in search of a dynamic Senior Revenue Accountant to join their growing team.
This hybrid opportunity offers 3 days onsite / 2 remote + competitive earning potential ($105,000-$120,000 + bonus)
Key Responsibilities :
Revenue Accounting : You'll be a master of IFRS and 606 accounting standards, meticulously reviewing and analyzing revenue arrangements to ensure proper reserves.
Identify areas for improvement and communicate them clearly to management.
Data Analysis : Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Your keen eye will spot any discrepancies and ensure proper classification of transactions.
- Financial Forecasting Champion : Provide timely insights and analysis to enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Reserve & Accrual Ace : Analyze and record sales-related reserves, provisions, and accruals, ensuring their reasonableness and compliance.
- Process Guru : Continuously review and refine our processes to optimize efficiency and data collection. Document these improvements for future reference.
Participate in monthly close meetings.
Internal Controls Champion : Safeguard the integrity of our financial reporting by adhering to and enforcing internal controls.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors with confidence.
Team Player : Participate actively in cross-functional meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with colleagues.
You'll be a great fit if you have :
- A degree in accounting (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business and industry trends
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced techniques & statistical analysis), MS Office Suite, and accounting standards (IFRS & GAAP)
- Experience with ERP Cloud systems (ideally Oracle) and reporting tools is a plus
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to following procedures
- The ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for continuous improvement
