About The Position
Job Title : Pediatric Intensivist Job Specialty : Intensivist Job Duration : Full-Time Shift : This is a 2-physician practice with backup through telemedicine by Pediatric Intensive Care Unit providers.
Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Idaho license (or willing to obtain) Certifications : - Board Certified in Pediatrics - Required- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine - Required Must-Have : Not accepting Locums or visa candidates Job Description : Join a multidisciplinary team in a 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with medical and surgical capabilities.
- Collaborate in a closed-unit model with dedicated nursing staff and fully complemented ancillary team.- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds with a supportive general Pediatric and Family Medicine community.
- Work within a Level-II trauma center managing over 100 pediatric trauma admissions annually.- Benefit from a collegial environment with a 28-bed Level III-B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and a 10-bed Pediatric Unit staffed by specialized Pediatric professionals.
- Responsibilities include admissions and patient management, and consultation with families and referring physicians.- Access robust sub-specialty support, including Pediatric Neurology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology / Oncology, Surgery, Anesthesia, and ENT.
