Our client is a Japanese owned warehouse equipment manufacturer located in Suwanee. Our client is introducing the world’s highest quality ergonomic material handling equipment such as lift tables and electric carts that are required to improve safety and productivity in today’s industry.

Position Summary

This position will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. It is essential that this person has excellent communication skills to create a comfortable working in a team environment.

Duties for this position include overseeing the office work of other staff, inside sales, assisting outside sales personnel, customer service, etc.

Essential Job Functions

• Reviews and analyzes special reports, summarizes information, and identifies trends.
• Writes reports for senior management and delivers presentations.
• Attends conferences and trainings.
• Manage inside sales by setting and tracking sales targets.
• Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process.
• Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
• Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products.
• Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
• Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
• Researches and collects information on prospective customers as necessary.
• Communicates with customers, sales personnel, and the parent company in Japan on any problems and recommended resolutions;

Provides interface with corrective actions as necessary.

• Assist sales personnel in providing review and analysis of marketing information to determine customer needs.
• Assists to prepare presentations at various meetings.
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
• Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager and other senior management.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
• Maintains good communication with other managers, the Company’s staff & outside contacts.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree ( from a four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3 + years experience as an Inside sales manager and / or sales assistant
• Previous work experience at small to mid-sized or start-up companies.
• Has understanding and knowledge of US business practices.
• Has understanding and knowledge of Japanese business practices.
• Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of document processing, department support, and managing files and records.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, team player attitude.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
