Purpose : Provides strategic vision, direction, and guidance for all services and programs. This position is responsible for the overall day-to-day services.
This includes ensuring strong departmental coordination and delivery of the organization’s brand promise with particular focus on a high-quality client experience and a focus on maximizing revenue.
Responsibilities :
- Advocates successfully for the individuals we serve.
- Leads the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic goals and the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs / strategies, and regulatory action.
- Leads by example to motivate, guide, and coach a high-performance management team consisting of employment services, adult day training, community living, and educational services.
- Fosters a people-focused, safe, and success-oriented culture.
- Promotes honest, direct, and thorough communication among departments to create a spirit of unity in the organization.
- Leads an efficient and successful system of programs and services that achieves performance targets.
- Monitors progress, outcomes, and deliverables related to each service and program.
- Forecasts financial and operational performance.
- Analyzes and synthesizes data and provides solutions to the CEO to enhance performance.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- In collaboration with executive leadership, supports the human resource strategy, specifically in the areas of talent acquisition and retention, change management, performance management, training and development, and succession planning.
- Diagnoses problems quickly, foresees potential issues and delivers resolution.
- Remains well informed on local, state, and national issues affecting the industry.
- Leads all program and service audits, ensuring compliance with associated policies and guidelines.
- Oversees development and implementation of all services-related policies, practices, standards to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Oversees and assists in the development of all program budgets and ensures budgetary responsibilities are met monthly.
- Meets the goals within specified timeframes, sets and exceeds revenue targets, challenges the status quo, and innovates in area of expertise.
- Naturally collaborates with others, makes decisions, and effectively coordinates various departmental efforts to achieve organizational strategic direction.
- Complies with all organizational policies and procedures including, but not limited to, safety and emergency procedures, requirements of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), CARF and other regulatory agencies.
- Represents the organization with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) and other stakeholders including, but not limited to, support coordinators, Department of Education, Vocational Rehabilitative Service, Florida ARF, alternative funding entities, etc.
- Maintains a collaborative work environment and works well with others.
- All other duties as required of this position and assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, counseling, psychology, or related field required. Master’s degree in operations preferred.
A minimum of 10 years in a high-level leadership position required, preferably in services. An understanding of funding streams and all regulatory requirements is preferred.
Experience in the delivery of services to people with disabilities is required. Managerial experience required with steadfast results and personal integrity.
Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of analytical data driven performance metrics. Strong fiscal management skills and understanding of complex reimbursement methodologies.
Extensive experience in driving business growth, strengthening customer service, and managing organizational risk. Knowledge of business and industry related trends.
Demonstrated skills in project management, time management, communication and presentation skills. Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
Has a sense of urgency. Has exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization (including staff at remote locations).
Is culturally sensitive, disability sensitive, and socially perceptive. Establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships, both internally and externally.

Must pass Level 2 background screening, local law enforcement and drug screening. Must have valid Florida Driver’s License.
