Our client is an early-stage administrative trust company dedicated to serving the trust and estate planning needs of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients.

The company seeks an experienced Trust professional to counsel clients as a trusted fiduciary advisor. This is a great opportunity to join the firm as a founding member with equity, helping the business grow and ultimately building an expert trust team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Trusts & Estate Planning Strategist

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the trust department, aligned with the company's overall objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of trust officers, legal experts, and support staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for UHNW individuals, families, advisors, and organizations.
• Identify growth opportunities and work with founders to help foster and close new business relationships
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional trust and fiduciary services, meeting or exceeding client expectations
• Ensure compliance and regulatory oversight, staying current with all applicable fiduciary laws and regulations and maintaining best practices
• Implement a robust risk management program to identify and mitigate potential risks to the company and clients, maintaining strong internal controls
• Recruit and train a highly capable team, cultivating a culture of professionalism, expertise, and client-centered service

Qualifications of the Senior Trusts & Estate Planning Strategist :

• CPA or Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) required
• 7+ years’ experience as wealth strategist in trust & estate planning, trust administration, and complex trust structures, tax strategies with ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients;

leadership role preferred

• Strong client-facing skills. Proven success in cultivating relationships and acting as a trusted advisor to UHNW individuals, families, and entities
• Strong understanding of trust laws, financial regulations, tax planning, and legal compliance.
• Sound knowledge of fiduciary risk management and internal controls.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CTFA) are a plus.
