Job Details :
- Coverage : Ongoing
- Specialty : MD / DO OBGYN
- Positions open : 1
- Job Setting : Inpatient
- MD / DO Inpatient, Outpatient
- Department Shift Schedule : 24hr call; 8A-8A
- Call Schedule and Call Responsibilities : 1 - 2 weekends / month. Providers will work 24hrs starting Saturday and ending Monday morning
- EMR system : Epic
- OBGYN are required to round
- After the providers round and complete all that is needed they can leave but need to be at most 30 mins away
- Types of Cases : 1 2 admissions, deliveries, urgent / emergent surgeries
- Patient Encounters per shift : 1 2 admissions, deliveries, urgent / emergent surgeries
- How many calls do they typically get in 24hrs? 1-2
- How many deliveries do they typically get in 24hrs? 5-10
- Available support staff : Hospital RN staff
- Must be able to handle babies 35 weeks and up, so not a NICU but a level 1 nursery
- Credentialing Timeframe : 30-60 Days
Requirements :
- Active Unrestricted MN License required
- Board Certified OBGYN
- Must have clean malpractice
