Team Introduction

The Physical Security (PSEC) team is part of the Corporate Services (CS) department and is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of PSEC projects and programs to support global operations.

In this role, you will provide exceptional security support across multiple sites, including assisting with the deployment of effective guard teams and responding to local incidents promptly and professionally.

Building strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners (such as law enforcement and local first responders) will be important.

You will also help maintain site risk assessment documentation and support new office projects, contributing to a secure and well-managed environment.

Responsibilities - Assist in the daily operations of physical security across multiple sites, overseeing the deployment of local teams (guards, reception, and / or SOC services) based on the risk profile and operational needs of each site.

  • Ensure that site risk assessment documentation is accurate and kept up-to-date.- Respond to physical security incidents at sites within the region, including incident reporting, conducting after-action reviews, and performing thorough investigations to assess and triage situations effectively.
  • Plan and lead physical security onboarding and training for security personnel at sites within the region to ensure professional and consistent service delivery.
  • Assist in managing guarding vendors, ensuring high-quality performance in line with key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting invoice and purchase requisition / order processes.
  • Deliver interactive and engaging employee training sessions and participate in tabletop exercises.- Update and maintain site emergency response plans, including protocols for medical, fire, and other workplace emergencies.
  • Conduct offsite risk assessments to support the event security program.- Assist with new office projects, including the security design of office spaces.
  • Establish and maintain strong liaison relationships with local first responders and all levels of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Collaborate with property management staff on emergency building evacuations and other site incidents.

Minimum Qualifications - Basic experience or internship in security operations across multiple sites, demonstrating an understanding of responsibilities and performance expectations.

  • Familiarity with physical access control systems, video management systems, and visitor management systems through coursework or practical experience.
  • Ability to assist in updating and maintaining site documentation, such as checklists and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic understanding of new office security needs, including support for risk assessments and technical security design.
  • Experience or involvement in supporting security-related tasks, including assisting with guarding RFPs and supervision of contract personnel.
  • Comfortable with handling acute incidents and providing support for business events or venue risk assessments.- Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to engage with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications - Some experience or internships in security operations across multiple sites, showing eagerness and potential for performance and responsibility growth.

  • Basic technical knowledge of physical access control systems, video management systems, and visitor management systems.
  • Proven ability to assist in maintaining site documentation, including checklists, post orders, and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience supporting new office security projects, including contributing to risk assessments and security design.- Involvement in assisting with guarding RFPs and supporting the supervision of contract personnel.
  • Demonstrated skill in handling acute incidents and supporting business events, such as venue risk assessments.- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Basic problem-solving skills with experience working with global teams.
