The Director of IT Services will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions and ensuring the consistency and maintainability of existing infrastructure and applications.
Maintaining IT production environment including : hardware, software, telephony, network equipment and various other systems integral to daily operations.
Also responsible for Communications related responsibilities including : maintaining websites, social media outlets, member and Board communications, and external marketing collateral.
Primary Responsibilities of the Director of IT Services :
- Provide guidance, vision, and management for the IT department and work with Club staff to assess and respond to IT needs
- Oversee the acquisition and implementation of new applications and upgrades as needed and maintain existing computer systems and software packages
- Responsible for the procurement, inventorying, and disposition of hardware and software including network equipment and VOIP phones
- Responsible for maintaining all hardware including wireless devices, phones AND Cisco network equipment : switches, routers, servers.
- Manage current cybersecurity technologies and products
- Provide analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions
- Maintain the integrity and continual operation of the IT networks, including the wireless networks, while working with the limitation of local providers, and manage TCP / IP assignments through DHCP
- Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment along with network access through Active Directory
- Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans
- Serve as primary contact with outside vendors and contractors, negotiate pricing and maintain agreements
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user instructions
- Maintain all Club websites, email communications, newsletters and Board documents
- Edit all marketing collateral internal and external
- This position requires to work more than 40 hours per week.
Education / Experience :
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or IT related field or related experience
Minimum ten (10) years experience within Information Technology
Minimum five (5) years experience in Communications
Certification and / or License Requirement :
CISSP, Cisco CCNA Certification in Network and / or Voice preferred

Microsoft Environment : Windows, Server, Office Suite, Visio
Active Directory
DHCP
Experience with ERP or CRM applications
Point of Sale hardware / software experience including printers
Cisco Networking
Telephony
IP Camera technology
Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop and In Design
Create Technical Documentation
Create and Edit internal member and board communications and external marketing collateral, both print and web based
Website Administration
Working Conditions :
Both office and outdoor environments with occasional inclement weather conditions
Physical / Cognitive Activities :
- Requires ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items up to 50lbs.
- Ability to sit of prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to frequently stand for various periods of time and work in close quarters.
- Ability to climb ladders to inspect installations.
Director of IT Services and Communications

The Director of IT Services and Communications must have a broad knowledge of information technology processing systems, concepts, and methodologies and hands-on operations experience in an IT production environment.
Traits of this Director include : a strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Integral to this position is the demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies, sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while working under pressure.
This Director must have documented work experience with Microsoft Windows Environments including server and workstation configuration, installation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting.
Also required is a solid working knowledge of TCP / IP networks supporting CISCO network hardware and VOIP telephony. An essential skill for this position is the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and through creation of technical documentation and user instructions.
Additionally, experience creating and maintaining websites, knowledge of mass communication applications, ability to edit technical and non-technical documentation, and the ability to layout and design newsletters and other communications collateral are critical job functions.
The Director of IT Services Reports to the General Manager.
