About the Role :

The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines and solutions to enable clinical teams to design, run, and analyze clinical trials while optimizing for safety, efficacy, and efficiency.

In addition to supporting ongoing deployed solutions, this position will work with others on a cross-functional Bioinformatics & Data Analytics team using programming, statistics, and visualization techniques to transform data into useful outputs for analytics, exploration, and decision making.

Your Contributions :

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical development, clinical operations, biometrics, and other medical teams to support the design, execution, and reporting of clinical trials.
  • Provide technical direction and support to team members, guiding them in best practices for data organization, utilization, and analysis in clinical development.
  • Support the design and creation of technical solutions, including data ingression, modeling, and visualization / consumption to make data more accessible, consistent, and clear.
  • Identify and build operational metrics and models for stakeholders in the form of digestible analytical information via readily accessible tools and technologies.
  • Identify and resolve analytical issues and data operation challenges that arise during clinical trials, using innovative approaches to improve data integrity and clinical efficiency.
  • Optimize analytical solutions and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain production solution stacks and enhancement backlogs to deliver on requested features and strategic roadmaps.
  • Create and update documentation to support development, definitions, and business rules.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Bio / Pharma Development, or related field and 7+ years in an analytical capacity supporting development and maintenance of solutions OR
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Bio / Pharma Development, or related field and 5+ years as noted above OR
  • PhD or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Bio / Pharma Development, or related field and 2+ years as noted above.
  • Demonstrated passion for practically solving complex problems with technology.
  • Prior bio / pharma experience highly preferred, similar hi-tech / regulated field will be considered.
  • Expert proficiency in Python, R or other mainstream programming languages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and building relational database models.
  • Proficiency in data exploration and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, R, etc.
  • Familiarity with visualization libraries and frameworks, such as Shiny, Plotly, ggplot, etc.
  • Experience with CDISC standards and GCP regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience with clean code principles, testing methodologies, and GitHub.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and related software and tools (e.g., SAS, R, JMP).
  • Familiarity with machine learning in clinical data analysis as pertaining to patient stratification and other predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with clinical data capture, trial management, and randomization systems.
  • Familiarity with Real World Data, electronic health records (EHR) and wearable data sources.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and how those are implemented.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical and technological concepts to non-technical peers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $99,200.00-$143,675.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties / requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
