Pay Range : $ to $104, Salary Exempt

What you'll do :

  • Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products.
  • Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
  • Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  • Plans sequence of fabrication and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
  • Confers with department Supervisors and Managers to determine status of planned and released schedules.
  • Expedites operations with delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Prepares production reports.
  • May prepare lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Assign production in order to reduce the costs of the company, as well as be able to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Reviews and works parts weekly and continually monitors the production process and suggests process improvements.
  • Schedule the production process and production departments synchronously according to material, employee and availability of equipment.

Requirements

What you'll need :

Four-year technical degree plus minimum 2 years of manufacturing / logistics scheduling and production planning experience;

or equivalent experience (5+ years)

  • ERP system experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with logistics planning and routing.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to enable successful execution of production plans to meet and exceed customer expectations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Highly organized individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and adapt to on-going changing situations in fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information tactfully and effectively to all levels of the organization.
