Our client, a leading food products wholesaler in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various maintenance tasks and possess a strong mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Complete and manage work orders for facility-related equipment.
- Conduct all aspects of facility maintenance, including repairs and painting.
- Report any incidents of harassment to your Supervisor, Manager, or Human Resources Manager.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic electrical experience is a plus.
- Ability to regularly lift / move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working on ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding, and in high places.
- Safe handling of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermodynamic equipment.
- Ability to work in engine rooms with heat and noise.
- Strong understanding of and ability to follow directions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn new methods and procedures.
Schedule & Compensation :
- Monday - Friday
- 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
