Java Springboot Developer

Infosys is seeking a Java Springboot Developer with application maintenance and support experience. The position will primarily be responsible for providing support for the In-House product based on customer requirements.

The selected candidate will be able to provide user support, maintain and upgrade the applications, develop new features, write test scripts, troubleshoot issues on the systems, and interact with customer process consultants and business SMEs to understand and analyze various processes.

The candidate will also derive automation opportunities and make recommendations from product discussions.

Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
• All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Java / J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Rest APIs, ORM, JPA, Hibernate, Angular, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, SQL Database (Postgres, Oracle, MYSQL).
• Experience using CI / CD tools, GitHub, Jenkins, New Relic / Splunk, etc.
• Experience with any cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Ability to develop new features and test scripts.
• Experience in upgrading and monitoring the Documentum systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with application development and support.
• Experience resolving security vulnerabilities is a plus.
• Experience with AWS is a plus; Node.js knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams, including technical, business, and management teams.
• Experience managing a team would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. The candidate should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
