About The Position
Job Details :
Position : Certified Surgical Technician
Location : Lakewood, CO
Shift : Days (8*5)
Duration : Fulltime
Job Description :
- Scrub on all cases.
- Primarily, Mainly Ortho, Total joint replacements (Hips, Shoulder, Knees Ankles etc.), Ortho Spine and Sports Medicine.
- Giving breaks and / or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
- Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.
- Maintaining sterile field during procedures.
- Handing instruments to surgeons, anticipating surgeon's needs.
- Maintaining and updating preference cards.
Qualifications :
- Education - HS Diploma / GED required.
- Experience - 1 Year of Experience in surgical setting.
Certification / license / registration :
- CST Certification from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required.
- Active BLS from AHA
