Anatomic/Clinical Pathologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
A facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL is looking for a locum AP / CP Pathologist to assist with coverage starting ASAP. Candidates must be Board Certified and hold an active FL license to apply.
The facility is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
This hospital-based pathology lab position is to backfill one retiring staff member and fill a new additional role. The call schedule is rotating evenings, weekends, and holidays, shared among 5 pathologists, with a call ratio of 1 : 5.
The locum tenens physician will handle 25-30 cases per day, focusing on electrophoresis pathology interpretation and hematology differential review.
The physician will not be responsible for grossing their own specimens or cutting frozen sections. Board certification and a Florida state license are required, with local candidates preferred.
