Core Faculty, Geriatrics-trained Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine)

UPMC St. Margaret Geriatric Care Center / UPMC St. Margaret Geriatric Fellowship Program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is recruiting for a full-time Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician for our geriatric fellowship program.

This geriatric fellowship faculty member will be responsible for faculty advising, didactic teaching, scholarly activity, collaborating with faculty, residents and fellows, as well as, rounding on inpatient service as clinical faculty 10-12 timer per year.

This includes call or back up call for outpatient and nursing home facilities during those rounding weeks. On-site resources include geri-psych, palliative care, and a dedicated social worker.

• Qualifications : Applicant must have completed a U. S. accredited graduate medical residency training in Family Medicine.
• Must be board certified in Family Medicine (or Board eligible and certified within 3 years of employment).* Must hold a valid Pennsylvania medical license, DO, or can get a Pennsylvania License prior to start.
• Completion of formal geriatrics training, and board certification / CAQ or eligible for certification* Experience in Graduate Medicine Education a plus but not required This is a salary position with a quality incentive bonus and a sign-on bonus.
