Position : Registered Nurse-Med / Surg-Nights

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and work on a full-time, permanent basis in the Med / Surg department at one of our partner facilities.
Job Summary :
As a Registered Nurse in the Med / Surg department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients who are recovering from medical procedures or managing chronic illnesses.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Qualifications :
- Graduated from an accredited 6ssociates degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as Registered ed Nurse
- BLS certification is required
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med / Surg setting
- BLS certification
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
