A successful CPA Firm in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their team as their new Tax Manager / Senior Manager.
In this role, the Tax Manager / Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver federal and state services for a diverse client base.
Preparation and review of business income, personal income, sales and use, and payroll taxes.
Responsibilities :
The Tax Manager / Senior Manager will :
- Prepare and review of business income, personal income, sales and use, and payroll taxes.
- Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of clients’ businesses
- Work closely with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs with planning compliance
- Research, write and consult on various tax engagements
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Train and supervise staff along with reviewing and evaluating their work
- Manage multiple clients
Qualifications :
- 6+ years of prior experience in Public Accounting and Tax
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly orbanized
