Pharmacy Operations Support Specialist
Location : Boca Raton, FL
Schedule : Full-time, M-F 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM
Salary Range : $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Description :
Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to manage and coordinate day-to-day operational activities.
This role is essential in ensuring seamless data management, optimizing business operations, and acting as a liaison between internal teams and customers to maintain high service standards.
The ideal candidate will excel in managing system interfaces and operational processes to support the pharmacy’s growth and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include :
- Leading interface implementation projects to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assisting in pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflows.
- Serving as the primary contact for eMAR / EHR-related inquiries, resolving system interface issues, and coordinating between internal IT and customer IT teams.
- Developing dashboards and reports to track workflow performance and improve efficiency.
- Managing customer relationships, responding to calls, and ensuring top-level customer service.
- Overseeing quality assurance for onboarding new customers.
- Leading or supporting various operational projects as needed.
- Providing training to internal and customer staff on relevant systems and processes.
Requirements :
- Experience : 3+ years of related experience in operations, preferably in pharmacy or healthcare settings. Advanced degrees may substitute for experience.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office, and EMAR / EHR systems (e.g., Quickmar, Accuflo, AHT, PCC) required, along with experience in pharmacy operations systems.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot system issues with minimal direction.
- Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy in managing data and customer interactions.
- Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead teams on projects and meet deadlines.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
Work Environment :
- Occasional travel required (up to 25%), including air and ground travel.
- Must be available for flexible hours to accommodate operational needs.
