Job Title : Manufacturing Process Engineer - A Battery Manufacturing Company Position Type : Full-Time Location : Marshall, MI (Onsite) Salary Range / Rate : Total Package $76,000 - $125,000 Work Eligibility : US Citizen / Permanent Residents, No Work Visa Sponsorship Provided Job ID# : 142759 Job Overview : To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, we are seeking multiple full-time and dedicated Manufacturing Process Engineers to join our local team.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for enhancing product quality, optimizing production processes, and supporting the introduction of new products and materials.

These roles require a proactive approach to identifying and solving production issues, maintaining high standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Essential Functions :

• Analyze and enhance the yield and utilization rates of quality products.
• Strive to improve the First Time Yield (FTY) rate, ensuring products meet quality standards on the first attempt.
• Develop and implement effective monitoring systems for mass production processes.
• Conduct thorough analysis to detect and address anomalies promptly.
• Evaluate risks associated with the introduction of new products, materials, processes, and equipment.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring smooth integration.
• Implement corrective measures to address and resolve batch quality issues.
• Analyze customer complaints thoroughly to identify root causes.
• Develop and implement improvement plans to address and prevent recurrence of issues.
• Provide on-site support for mass production customers.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and address any issues that arise during audits.
• Maintain an organized file system for all relevant documentation. Ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible for reference and audit purposes. Minimum Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrochemical engineering, engineering, materials science, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering or a related field; proven experience within a automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Proficient in various engineering techniques including Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the 8D problem-solving process.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, as well as data analysis tools like Minitab and JMP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and support.
• Proficiency in documentation and maintaining organized records.
• Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.
• Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill levels. Physical Requirements :
• Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
• Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
• Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
• Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation. Benefits :
