Scale AI is looking to hire a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Revenue Accountant to join its Accounting team. This crucial role will play an integral part in day-to-day revenue accounting in a fast-paced environment.

This role will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, deal review, and maintaining revenue accounts in accordance with U.

S. GAAP. Our ideal candidate has the highest moral standards and is experienced in handling highly confidential information.

You must have strong analytical skills and an eagerness to learn, as well as be a collaborative team player who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

You will :

  • Assist in monthly revenue and commissions accounting close activities including journal entry preparation and key account reconciliations
  • Ensure the company is compliant with revenue recognition principles under ASC 606
  • Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP
  • Collaborate within Revenue Operations and Finance on revenue metrics, flux analysis, forecast, and projections
  • Identify and implement process improvements. We strive to maintain pace with our growth and keep an eye on scalability in everything we do
  • Preparation of revenue related schedules for external auditors
  • Own the order to cash cycle, which includes the company's accounts receivable and customer invoicing process

Ideally you'd have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a must
  • 3+ years of accounting experience; public accounting a must
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and highly analytical
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities within deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • US citizenship is a requirement due to US government security clearance processing

Experience with NetSuite, SalesForce, FloQast

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. $108,000 $129,600 USD
