Safety Coordinator
Large Software Development Client
Des Moines, IA - Onsite 5x / week
6+ month contract, with potential to convert to FTE
On a W2 basis ONLY (no corp to corp or 1099)
Preferred Qualifications
The staff members should have the following qualifications :
- At least two years of experience in data center operations or related fields
- Extensive training in safety and protocols for data center environments
- Ability to monitor and manage multiple vendors with different scopes of work.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Proactive and accountable attitude
Responsibilities
- The staff members will have the following responsibilities : Always ensure the safety and security of the data center and its equipment.
- Prevent and report any incidents or issues that may affect data center operations.
- Coordinate and supervise the vendors who provide services to the data center.
- Measure and evaluate the performance of the vendors and provide feedback.
- Write daily and weekly reports on the data center activities and outcomes.
