Schedule : Full-time Shift : Evenings - 3pm to 3am Location : AdventHealth ED and Urgent Care Southmoor - 7000 E. Hampden Ave, Denver CO Unit Highlights : + 10-bed, fully equipped Emergency Department.

We're prepared for any situation, with a dedicated trauma bay and a psych room for specialized care. + Our team includes highly skilled Emergency Physicians and Radiology Techsworking together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

  • We treat a wide variety of medical conditions, from minor illnesses like sore throats to complex emergencies like strokes and traumas.
  • Our partnership with our Porter Hospital allows for efficient transfers for Cath Lab, OR, and inpatient services for continued care.
  • We value your input! Our Unit Based Council ensures staff participation in departmental decision-making. The role you’ll contribute : Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.

Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.

Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. The value you’ll bring to the team : + Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.

Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome. + Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic / diagnostic interventions including but not limited to IV’s, incision / wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.
  • Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect the health and safety and rights of each patient. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : + A graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program + One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty + Current Colorado RN License or a Compact RN License from a NCLA Compact State + BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.

The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay range for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience and other relevant factors within this pay range.
