Job Title : Psych LVN at Mission Community Hospital
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psych LVN to join our team at Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, California.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. As a Psych LVN, your primary responsibility will be to provide nursing care to patients with mental health conditions under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

Responsibilities :
- Conduct intake screenings and assessments to identify patient needs
- Administer medication and monitor patient response
- Create and maintain patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Implement and follow all hospital policies and procedures
- Use therapeutic communication techniques to effectively interact with patients
- Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation of potentially violent situations
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Requirements :
- Current and valid LVN license in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LVN in a psychiatric setting
- BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
