About The Position
Job Title : Special Procedures Technologist Job Specialty : Neuro Diagnostic Technologist (EEG) Job Duration : 6 months Shift : Weekdays and on-call weekend rotation Guaranteed Hours : 32 Experience : One to two years of experience as a Neurodiagnostics (EEG) Technologist License : ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists) certification Certifications : BLS Certification, with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network Must-Have : Traveler must live more than 50 miles away from the facility Job Description : Perform skilled non-invasive neurodiagnostic procedures- Conduct non-invasive cardiac procedures- Handle general record-keeping and inventory- Ensure equipment quality control is maintained Qualifications : Education : Associate's Degree in a related field and / or completion of an accredited Electroencephalographic Technology program Additional Information : Facility size : 150-500 beds- Trauma Level : Level 2
