STV is seeking a professional Water / Wastewater Engineering Specialist to join our Water / Wastewater division out of our San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth and Longview, TX locations.

Responsibilities include :
- Production of contract documents including plans and specifications
- Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.
- Perform pump calculations and develop system curves for sizing pumps.
- Water and Wastewater treatment process engineering and design support.
- Prepares construction and design cost estimates.
- Develops project specific specifications.
- Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
- Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
- Makes site visits during design and construction to inspect facilities.
- Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.
Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
- Experience or specific course work in water and wastewater systems is a plus.
- Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT) or the ability to complete in the first 6 months.
- Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS is a plus.
- Participation in AWWA, WEF, ASCE and other professional organizations as well as joining a committee would be a plus.
Compensation Range :
$58,475.00 - $77,966.00
